Description
|
A rare and very small Meissen teapot and cover with an Imari style decoration in underglaze blue and overglaze iron red, yellow, green, and purple highlights.
Mark: under-glaze blue crossed swords. Grund Senior's mark is four dots in underglaze blue in the footrim, and Kühnel Senior's mark is two incised circles.
8cm High and 11cm Wide handle to spout.
