Description
|
An extremely rare hard-paste porcelain Sèvres plate (from a Sèvres dinner service), painted by Jacques-Nicolas Sinsson fils.
This dinner service was purchased for use at the Palace of Stupinigi near Turin, probably by Napoléon Bonaparte, and there are records of its design and decoration in the Sèvres archives.
