Sèvres cup and saucer (Gobelet bouillard et soucoupe) painted with beautiful pointillé ground and pastoral landscapes.
Vincent Taillandier, or his wife Geneviève, painted the grounds that often accompanied this type of decoration. These were in the form of tiny dots in various different colours, which are known as fond Taillandier. Taillandier is accredited with the creation of this design.
