Description An extremely rare and early Saint-Cloud petal moulded teapot and cover, press moulded with a design of interlocking petals, applied with a stem moulded handle and faceted spout. The cover similarly moulded with a knop finial.

Condition Manufacturing firing fault to handle, spout reattached, and a body crack secured with old rivet restoration.
