Description
|
A rare pair of Worcester baskets, painted at the atelier of James Giles with sprays and sprigs of flowers in a monochrome palette of shades of green, the handles formed of twisted rope highlighted with gilt, similarly with the undulating rim. The exterior is covered with green florettes and leaves between the intersections of the trellis work.
