Description
|
This pair of vases are painted with sprays of large garden flowers. Six intricately cut-out foliate designs surround the top half of the vases which correspond to the cut-out designs on the covers. These and the moulded lines are picked out in deep blue. Two large yellow carnations are tipped with orange; the green leaves and stem surmount the top of the cover and form finials.
