Description French Porcelain Pot-Pourri and Pierced Cover.

A Mennecy porcelain pot-pourri jar and pierced cover with individual blue florettes (en forme de pelotes de neige) or schneeballblüten decoration (balls of snow). The cover is similarly decorated and has three series of holes for pot-pourri in the shape of a flower-head. There is a single raised flower finial on the cover.

Marked with a green-painted DV.

*It is interesting to note that the factory has painted some blue flowers in to replace those that were lost in the manufacture.


Condition Restoration to a few flower petals.
