Description
|
A fine small Meissen purple ground quatre-lobed tea bowl and saucer; the panels are painted in Kakiemon style with flowering branches. The saucer is painted with four clusters of Kakiemon flowers and a small orange Mons-style flower in the centre. Brown rims. The reverse of the saucer is a solid purple ground.
Meissen crossed swords, and Dreher’s mark of two parallel lines scored in the foot-rim.
