Description
|
An extremely rare polychrome, London salt cellar of tin-glazed earthenware, Southwark, Pickleherring Quay or Montague Close, with the arms of the City of London.
The long sides moulded with winged cupid masks, each end with the arms of the City of London, the interior with a simple leaf spray within a decorative blue border, with paw feet below moulded leaves to each corner.
