Description
|
An extremely rare Kelsterbach scent bottle of a gentleman riding a goat, modelled by Carl Vogelmann (Active 1764-66). The trunk of the tree is embossed with flowers, as is the stopper. The features of the man are finely modelled, and the mouth is painted a bright red, all typical features of Vogelmann’s modelling.
