Description
|
A rare Höchst Mantel Clock and Putto. The clock is of elegant pierced bell shape, tapering upwards all in rococo style, with intricate lattice piercing and crowned by a putto standing on a square plinth, carrying a basket of apples. The case is highlighted in purple and gold and the piecing in green.

Round watch case with built-in glass clock with enamel dial and a key lift, signed J.A. Gaudy, Geneva. Circa 1740-80 (not in working order)
