Description An extremely rare and important early Chantilly teapot and cover, of baluster shape with a slender curving spout and a scrolled strap handle. The body applied with prunus moulding and the cover slightly domed with triple ‘Volubilis’ flower heads as the finial.

Condition Tiny nibble to the end of the spout and manufacturing faults.
